How do I resolve Quebec efile errors L00515 and L00516?
To resolve Quebec efile error L00515 you must:
Display the Quebec EDI 813 diagnostic.
Locate field TIA*515**N where N is a numeric value.
Take note of the line number that appears to the far left of it.
Access the data editor and enter the keyword Efile-Ov.
Select the option Quebec EDI.
Within "Action" choose Overwrite line, and within # enter the number noted in step 3.
Within "Data" enter TIA*515**N where N is the branch number. (Include any opening 0's such as 00003.)
Recalculate and retransmit the return.
The same steps can be applied toward resolving efile error L00516 (financial institution)
except that you would be locating and overwriting field 516 instead of field 515.
